Care 2 Communities (C2C) operates seven primary health care clinics in northern Haiti. We work to create a model for sustainable, accessible, community-based healthcare in Haiti that meets the needs of the population and empowers families to lead healthier lives. All C2C clinics are a “one-stop-shop” for comprehensive services, providing patients with high-quality care through physician consultations, on- site pharmacy, and on-site lab testing.
C2C is growing and we seek to hire a Director of Operations who will be responsible for all aspects of C2C’s service delivery model by managing the daily clinical operations that drive health impact. This role sets the standards for operational excellence at every level and then ensures that those high standards are met. The Director of Operations has primary responsibility for both people and process management related to core service delivery. Furthermore, the Director of Operations ensures the development of long-term operational strategies, setting strategic goals, always looking for innovative ways to improve our services and model. The Director of Operations collaborates closely with a local team of managers to set, meet, and exceed C2C’s promise of exceptional health service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Lead and ensure operational excellence at all C2C clinics by establishing and ensuring all systems, procedures, and protocols are met and modify/create new protocols as needed to drive high-quality service delivery across all areas (clinical, operational, financial)
Build and nurture an organizational culture that exemplifies C2C’s core values of innovation, efficiency, creativity, and patient-centricity at all levels of staff
Contribute to successful new site launches by collaborating with the management team to evaluate opportunities and then steward the successful implementation of C2C’s operating model, with a focus on staff-uptake/training and the elevation of operating standards
Optimize/integrate C2C’s public-private partnership (PPP) model with the MSPP and a blended employee strategy
Supervising in-country banking and financial processes
Develop, foster, and revive the community relations with leaders, committees, and patients to
ultimately increase patient volume.
Control legal, regulatory, and procurement processes
Manage special projects, as needed – such as business unit optimization activities (ie: labs or retail),
facility improvements, payment innovations, and capital projects, etc.
Requirements:
University Degree – preferably in business administration/management or similar degree related to organizational development
At least 3 years proven experience in operations leadership success (ideally in Haiti)
Fluent in French and Haitian creole, with a good knowledge of English to be able to communicate
effectively via email and phone
Excellent team leader with the ability to supervise, manage and discipline staff members while still
working collaboratively with them and maintaining positive relationships
Strong communication and people skills
Significant experience working with financial data, including accounting and financial analysis
Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to review and analyze business performance data
Strong planning and organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multi-tasking, and problem-solving
Ability to design and execute a project from start to finish
Significant experience using computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, including working with
new software programs – demonstrate the ability to solve technical problems
Committed to building a strong brand reputation for C2C
Willingness to be flexible and open to new responsibilities, new duties, new projects/initiatives, and
new deliverables

Please note:
The person chosen for this position will be based in the Northern Department. The position requires frequent travel to clinic sites which are mostly located in rural areas.
The expected hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (occasional weekend work, several times per year)
