Reports to : Logistic Manager
Duration of duty: 3 months with possibility of extension
Under the leadership and supervision of the Logistics Manager, the Supply Chain Manager will coordinate, organize, and oversee all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of the company’s goods related to the emergency response project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities are to. WC may add, change, or remove essential and other duties at any time.
The Supply Chain Manager is expected to:
· Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
· Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
· Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the organization, at sites, and in the office.
· Maintain required quantity of supplies and materials as needed.
· Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the organization.
· Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes during the emergency phase of our interventions.
· Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
· Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
· Negotiates prices with suppliers, vendors, and/or companies.
· Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Any other task relevant to the position as delegated by the line manager.

· At least 3 years in a similar position (Procurement Manager, SC Manager or Log Manager) is required, preferably in NOGs
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
· Fluency in both English and French is required
Working Conditions
· Based in the WCH office in Nippes with frequent travel to WCH other regional offices and the Main in PAP as needed. Living conditions in the field may at times be harsh.
· May require working extended hours and on weekends/holidays to meet deadlines.
· Normal office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00a.m.-4:00 pm.
